MARY STYLES MACKEN FUNERAL The Auburn NY Citizen Advertiser, 7 February 1936, p6 The funeral of Mrs. Mary C. Macken, wife of Andrew J. Macken, who died Wednesday morning, was held from her home, 1 Adams Street at 8:30 o’clock this morning with services at Holy Family Church at 9 o’clock. A requiem solemn high Mass was sung by Rev. Leo Jones, with Rev. Donald M. Cleary as deacon and Rev. William E. Davie as sub-deacon. So many and large were the floral offerings that an extra car was used for their conveyance to the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Committal services were conducted by Father Cleary. There were many mass cards. Bearers were Richard Macken, John Hayes, Daniel Macken, James Ryder, Edward Hayes and John McGrain.
