10. Examination of Richard Brooks of Aston and Coate, labourer, 26 Sep. Saw Solomon Townsend, James Ward, Philip Ball and John Fisher steal tithe wheat. 11. 26 Sept Rev Thomas Burrow of Bampton £20 to prosecute.
12. Richard brooks £10 to give evidence. J. Hyde.
13. Jury present S. Townsend, J Ward, P. Ball and J. Fisher all of Bampton, labourers 1 Sept [as above] Townsend not guilty.”
