“Powers Services”, funeral of Mrs Mary Harte Powers, The Citizen-Advertiser (Auburn, New York), 29 Jun 1966
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Harte Powers, widow of Edward Powers, who died Sunday at her home, South St. Road, Fleming, were held at the Farrell Funeral Home at 9 a.m. today. Rev. John A. Morgan conducted the services, A high Mass & requiem was offered in St. Isaac Jogues Church, Fleming, at 9:30 a.m. by Father Morgan. Present in the sanctuary during the services were former pastors Rev. Elmer W. Heindl of St. Patrick’s Church, Cato, and Rev. Raymond J. Wuest of St. Mary’s Church, Dansville. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery where where final rites were conducted by Father Morgan assisted by Father Heindl and Father Wuest. John P. Kiley, Patrick J. Brooks, William J. McLane, Harold M. Delaney, John J. Hayes and Edward L. Hayes were bearers. Members of die Altar Society of St. Isaac Jogues Church with Father Morgan as moderator, conducted devotional services Monday evening.
