Mrs. Katherine Hart Murphy, widow of Thomas Murphy, of 31 Howard St. died Monday afternoon in Mercy Hospital following a long illness. Born In Ireland. Mrs. Murphy had resided in Auburn for over 40 years. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Surviving her are one daughter, Miss Catherine T. Murphy of Seattle, Wash.; one son, Thomas H. Murphy of Auburn; five sisters, Sister Mary Pelagin of The Sisters of St Joseph, Rochester, Mrs. Daniel Connery and Mrs. Nellie McClean, both of Auburn, Mrs. Nora McGrath of Rochester, Mrs. Mary Powers of Fleming; and several nieees and nephews. Services will be held at 8:10 a. m. Friday at the Farrell Funeral Home. Service will be conducted at 9 a.m. at Holy Family.
