Robert Styles of Auburn meets death at Scipio—funeral services on Thursday

Auburn, July 16—Funeral services will be held Thursday for Robert Styles of No. 67 Elisabeth Street, who met death under the wheels of a train at Scipio some time last night or early this morning. His body was not found until the morning.
Coroner Andrew J Forman spent this afternoon conducting an investigation which he does not expect to complete for a few days. He took statements from Engineer William King and Conductor E. Witherell of a train which left for Ithaca last night. John Graney, a track inspector, who discovered the body, was also questioned.
Besides his wife, Mr. Styles is survived by eight children, Katherine, 21; Edward, 19; Lawrence, 15; Robert, 15; William, 11; George, 8; Margaret, 5, and Charles, 1 year; two brothers, Thomas and James Styles, and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Nulty, Mrs. Katherine Hayes, Miss Margaret Styles and Mrs. Mary Machin.
