Mrs. Katherine Stiles [Hayes] Dies in Auburn.
AUBURN—Mrs. Katherine Stiles Hayes died today in an Auburn nursing home following several months’ illness. She was the widow of Maurice hayes.
Mrs. Hayes was born in Ireland and had resided in Auburn 60 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Gilmore, Seneca Falls; two sons, John J. Hayes and Edward L. Hayes, both of Auburn; a sister, Mrs. Annie Nulty, Auburn; a brother, Thomas Stiles, Indianapolis and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 8:30 A.M. Saturday from the home of her son, John J Hayes, 17 Foote St, and at 9 A.M. in Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
