AUBURN FAMILY IS IN TROUBLE
Father, Mother and Married Daughter Arrested.
AUBURN, March 22—Robert Styles, Bridget Styles and Katherine DeMars, father, mother and married daughter, respectively, are in jail as the result of an alleged altercation at their home in Market Street. The home is destitute, with not even a scrap of food in sight. Because of this fact the two younger children have been taken in charge by Superintendent of Charities Lattimore.
Robert Styles was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, after, as it is alleged, he had been driven out of the house. He was let out on bail to-day.
The mother and daughter are charged with assault upon Louis Schorve, their landlord, who claims his tenants threw a lamp at him when he demanded the rent. This is denied by the defendants, but the complainant has a lump as large as an egg on his cranium. The prisoners were placed int he county jail.
